Yellowstone National Park, also known as Yellowstone Park, is located in Wyoming, USA, and some areas extend to Montana and Idaho. This natural wonder managed by the National Park Service of the United States was officially named a national park for the protection of wildlife and natural resources on March 1, 1872, and was listed on the World Heritage List in 1978. As the world’s first national park, Yellowstone Park is famous for its magnificent natural scenery and rich biodiversity.

Yellowstone Park covers an area of ​​about 898,317 hectares and is divided into five main areas:
Mammoth Hot Springs Area: Located in the northwest of the park, it is famous for its limestone steps and hot steps.
Roosevelt Area: Located in the northeast, it retains the original scenery of the Old West.
Canyon Area: Located in the center, you can enjoy the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and spectacular waterfalls.
Yellowstone Lake Area: Located in the southeast, it is characterized by lakes and mountains.
Geyser area: Located in the west and southwest, it has many geysers, hot springs, steam pools, hot pools, mud and fumaroles.

Yellowstone Park is not only one of the largest volcanic craters in the world, but also has one of the largest forests in the world. There are more than 10,000 hot springs and more than 300 geysers, as well as more than 290 waterfalls. The park has landscapes such as Yellowstone Lake, Yellowstone River, canyons, waterfalls and hot springs, and is a popular tourist destination.

The park is home to a variety of wild animals, including 7 ungulates, 2 bears and 67 other mammals, as well as 322 bird species, 18 fish species and cross-border gray wolves. In addition, there are more than 1,100 native plants, more than 200 exotic plants and more than 400 thermophilic microorganisms.

Yellowstone National Park is known as “the most unique magical paradise on earth” and has very convenient transportation. The ring road is more than 500 kilometers long, connecting the main attractions of each scenic area, and there are more than 1,500 kilometers of hiking trails.
