A must-read guide to avoid pitfalls in Yellowstone National Park, USA!
Hehe, this time the title is a bit of a joke, I hope you don’t mind~

🚗 The long-planned trip to Yellowstone National Park, because of limited vacation time, finally chose to join a group. After saving up for a long time, I finally had the opportunity to go to Yellowstone, but it turned out to be a mess for various reasons, which was really frustrating!

🏨 I didn’t do any hotel, route, and dining guides, and finally had to rush through it. I read the introductions of various groups on XHS, including car models, hotels, reviews, and landing services, which made me feel overwhelmed. I was afraid of being left in an unfamiliar place, so I really compared travel agencies and tour leaders, and finally found a reliable small group.

🚙 After careful selection, I finally didn’t step on thunder. The small group travel was really comfortable, and they also prepared snacks, fruits, snacks and telescopes for us. It was so cool to play for 5 days!

⚠️ Some precautions encountered during the trip:
The temperature difference in the park is very large, so it is best to bring a thick coat in the suitcase.
You must bring all kinds of instant self-heating hot pots, not only because you are afraid of waiting for too many people, but more importantly, you can try hamburgers, sandwiches and coffee occasionally. Western food can’t really satisfy the Chinese stomach.
Bring a conversion plug. If you have a lot of electronic devices, you can buy a power strip with USB.
Bring your own toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, etc. It is better to bring a portable kettle.
Some places cannot use UnionPay cards, and sometimes you need to pay tips, so it is best to bring some cash change.
Mud volcanoes and geysers have a strange smell. Just leave as soon as you check in, otherwise it will be a bit uncomfortable if you smell it for a long time.

⚠️ The tour guide on this trip is very reliable and has a lot of travel experience! He will take us to the check-in camera position that is very good for taking pictures📸, and we also went to his private observation point to see wild bears and deer🐻. The group is all young people, the atmosphere is super good, it’s really lucky!

🚗 The route I took:
D1: Pick up at Salt Lake City
D2: Salt Lake City→Yellowstone National Park (West Yellowstone Vintage Carriage, Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin)
D3: Full-day tour of Yellowstone Park (Yellowstone Lake Cruise, Yellowstone Canyon Falls, Artist Point, Grand Prismatic Spring, Morning Glory Pool, Old Faithful Geyser, West Thumb, Hayden Valley)
D4: Yellowstone National Park→Grand Teton National Park (Grand Teton Peak Panorama, Oxhoof Bend, Jackson Lake, Jackson Town)
D5: Airport drop-off at Salt Lake City

I hope this guide can help friends who plan to travel to Yellowstone Park, have fun! You can also ask me directly if you have any questions~
